ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) has announced the appointment of Rachit Mishra as Head – Brand & Digital Communications, effective January 2026. The move strengthens the steelmaker’s focus on strategic brand positioning and integrated digital outreach as it scales operations in India.

Mishra will oversee the company’s brand architecture and digital communications strategy, with a mandate to align corporate messaging across platforms and stakeholder groups.


Mandate to Shape Corporate Narrative

In his new capacity, Mishra will be responsible for strengthening AM/NS India’s corporate reputation and ensuring consistent brand representation across internal and external channels. His role will include refining narrative frameworks, enhancing digital engagement, and building cohesive communication strategies that reflect the company’s long-term ambitions.

He indicated that his approach would prioritise clarity, credibility and sustained stakeholder trust, particularly for an organisation operating at significant industrial scale.


Experience Across Industry and Mobility Sectors

Mishra brings more than ten years of experience spanning brand strategy, corporate communications and digital marketing across diverse sectors.

Before joining AM/NS India, he led brand marketing and communications at CJ Darcl Logistics, where he directed integrated campaigns aligned with business growth objectives. Earlier, he was associated with Ford Motor Company’s International Markets Group, contributing to brand and communications initiatives across global markets.

His career also includes extensive work with construction equipment brands across India, SAARC and the Africa–Middle East region, managing regional communication strategies, product introductions and digital engagement programmes.
