Spark Foundry India Appoints Megha Varma as AVP – Digital

Spark Foundry India has strengthened its digital leadership bench with the appointment of Megha Varma as Assistant Vice President – Digital. She will be based in Gurugram and joins the agency after nearly six years at Wavemaker.

The move marks her return to the Publicis Media network, where she will contribute to advancing the agency’s digital strategy and client growth initiatives.


Transition from Wavemaker

Varma concluded her tenure at Wavemaker in February 2026, where she most recently held the role of Client Partner – Digital. During her time at the agency, she worked across integrated digital mandates, overseeing strategy, planning and execution for key accounts.

Her nearly six-year stint at Wavemaker included navigating evolving performance marketing frameworks and expanding digital-first solutions for brands across sectors.


Role at Spark Foundry

In her new capacity at Spark Foundry India, Varma will be part of the digital leadership team, contributing to the agency’s performance marketing capabilities, integrated media planning and data-led campaign strategies.

Spark Foundry operates under the Publicis Media umbrella and services a broad portfolio of clients across categories including FMCG, automotive, retail and technology.


Career Across Digital and Media Networks

Before joining Wavemaker, Varma held senior roles at Performics.Resultrix and ZenithOptimedia Group, building expertise in digital strategy and performance media. Her earlier professional experience includes assignments at One97 Communications Limited and The Times of India, where she gained exposure to digital business operations and media planning.

With more than a decade of experience in digital media and strategy, Varma’s appointment reflects ongoing leadership movements within India’s competitive agency ecosystem as networks continue to scale digital capabilities.
