Versuni India has named Amlan Pati as Marketing Director and Business Head for its Kitchen Appliances division, reinforcing the company’s senior leadership as it sharpens focus on growth in India’s fast-expanding home appliances market.

The company operates independently following its carve-out from Royal Philips and was previously known as Philips Domestic Appliances.


Leadership Move to Accelerate Kitchen Portfolio

In his new role, Pati will oversee marketing strategy, category development and overall business performance for Versuni’s kitchen appliances portfolio in India. His appointment comes at a time when demand for premium and smart kitchen solutions is gaining momentum across urban and semi-urban markets.

Versuni has been strengthening its presence in India through innovation-led product launches and expanded distribution, particularly in kitchen-focused categories.


Experience Across Consumer Electronics and FMCG

Prior to joining Versuni, Pati held the position of General Manager and Category Head for the Galaxy S Series at Samsung Electronics India. There, he managed one of the company’s flagship smartphone portfolios, leading product strategy, portfolio planning and go-to-market execution in a highly competitive segment.

Earlier in his career, he played a key role at CavinKare, where he established the organisation’s e-commerce vertical. He also spearheaded the launch of its direct-to-consumer website and introduced the company’s first D2C brand, Buds and Berries.

Pati was previously part of the marketing leadership team at realme during the brand’s formative phase in India, contributing to its market positioning and expansion strategy. His professional journey also includes experience at Panasonic, broadening his exposure across consumer electronics, mobile technology and FMCG categories.

An alumnus of International Management Institute New Delhi, Pati has been recognised as a Distinguished Alumnus Awardee by the institute.
