New India Abroad has announced the appointment of Bhabani Prasad Das as its Chief Business Officer (CBO), strengthening its leadership team as the media platform sharpens its global growth ambitions.

With nearly two decades of experience across media sales, digital monetisation, and brand-led content strategy, Das will lead the company’s commercial roadmap and oversee expansion across digital advertising, Connected TV (CTV), and branded intellectual properties.


Mandate to Scale Global Ad Sales and Strategic Alliances

In his new role, Das will supervise worldwide advertising operations spanning digital platforms, CTV ecosystems, and custom brand integrations. He will also be responsible for building strategic partnerships and developing proprietary intellectual properties aimed at enhancing audience engagement and revenue streams.

The appointment comes as New India Abroad intensifies efforts to strengthen its footprint among overseas Indian communities across North America, Europe, and the Middle East — regions that represent a fast-growing and influential diaspora segment.

Proven Track Record in Digital Revenue Growth

Before joining New India Abroad, Das served as National Head – Digital Branded Content & IP at Republic Media Network. During his tenure, he led large-scale branded content initiatives and data-driven revenue strategies that significantly boosted digital performance.

His earlier professional journey includes senior roles at ABP Digital and Times Internet Limited, where he contributed to digital monetisation, advertising innovation, and brand partnerships within India’s competitive media landscape.


Strengthening a Multi-Platform Diaspora Media Network

New India Abroad operates a diversified content portfolio that includes a weekly digital newspaper, daily newsletters, and an expanding catalogue of video and podcast programming. Its content is published in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Gujarati, enabling deeper engagement with varied diaspora communities.

As CBO, Das will focus on unlocking commercial value across these platforms by aligning audience insights with brand objectives and enhancing advertiser integration across formats.
